A touching bond between boy and beast.
When young Aaron Macgregor is tragically orphaned he is sent to live with his distant aunt and uncle in the nearby woodlands. While struggling to adapt to his new surroundings, Aaron suffers under a strained relationship with his emotional aunt and trouble from a local school bully. Feeling more and more of an outcast, Aaron flees to the hills where he makes a loyal new friend in an orphaned wolf cub. Together the pair soon becomes dependant on one another for physical and emotional survival, as they strive to reunite a divided family.
