So very true. One small adjustment. The challenge is finding it, that's where friends and family come in. Be open, and listen.

This would be a great new years sermon. We get stressed out, tend to think of change as this big thing but often it is a little adjustment that changes everything. Small is a relative term Think about communion. If we changed from thinking it is just something I do to it is a gift from Jesus Christ how dramatically could that change your communion experience. Dieting doesn't mean we quit eating, it means we simply change a little about what we are eating. It is a matter of perspective.

Greg . . . I want to read your sermon. A fellow pastor. I love the handing out of tiny play-doh.

I think God gives us the power to change through His Holy Spirit and what Christ did for us. We need to have our thinking line up with what the Spirit wants to do to allow us to change.

Thought about using this as an example of a false Gospel. Coming to Christ is no small adjustment, no slight change of attitude or life style, it is to be completely revolutionised by the same power that raised Christ from the dead. It is to be called by God from death to life, from darkness to light from serving ourselves to living for the glory of Almighty God. It is to have the wretchedness of our sinfulness washed away by the blood of Christ and be clothed in His righteousness.

I used this clip and preached a sermon called "What's Play-doh Got to do With It?" I talked about the adjustments that we have to allow God to do in our life in order to become something great for God. I gave everyone a small canister of Play-doh to take home as a reminder. Great clip.
