The legend comes to life.
Jean Valjean, a Frenchman imprisoned for stealing bread, must flee a police officer named Javert. The pursuit consumes both men’s lives, and soon Valjean finds himself in the midst of the student revolutions in France. Victor Hugo’s sweeping tale of revolutionary France, crime, punishment, flight, fear, persecution, redemption and love comes to life in this wonderful and faithful adaptation of the timeless tale.
MPAA: Rated PG-13 for violence, and for some sexual content.

Excellent movies. There are so many values hidden within the script. So much can be learned from the behaviors of man. Are we born good? Do we always do the right thing? In the end, are we honorable creatures?
