A long shot becomes a legend.
When carmaker Charles Howard wants to get into horse racing, he ends up with a team of underdogs who are also chasing their own dream. His washed-up trainer Tom Smith has a natural instinct to spot the capabilities of horses; the horse Tom chooses, Seabiscuit, is small and runs with a slight limp; and his jockey Red is too big and too angry, but has an indomitable spirit. Despite all this, Charles sees something in the brokenness of all of them that he knows can lead to completeness and eventually greatness.

Isn't it nice to know that we are not thrown out by God "just 'cause we're banged up a little"? After all, don't all of us feel "banged up a little" at some time in our lives?
